Hello all,

New guy here from the U.S. I would post pictures of my Porsche but I haven't a clue as to how to go about it. I don't have the pictures up on a website or anything, just in my computer.

Anyway, just wanted to drop a hello to everyone.

Cheers

You can use www.fotango.com, just register and you can upload your pics. Then just use the formatting codes , or supply the web address to your pics (which you will have put in the public gallery of course).

Rich sideways in a 2003 4wd 996TT with PSM ???? You would have to be a Messiah to spend much time in that manner.

Welcome S & D by the way!

Hmmm...

Color me stupid, but I don't get the joke either...

PSM has saved my ass once or twice already and I have around 2500 miles on the car. Breaking it in was ennerving. I felt like mashing on the gas all the time. I've only taken it for a few spirited drives. As a matter of fact, the person who mentioned this site and prompted me to wander over here was part of the first relatively fast drive.

The car is good fun.

Forgot to add.

This is my second Porsche. I used to have a 996 C4 Cabriolet. Couldn't deal with the cowl shake and lack of "kick in the pants" power.

Very happy with the upgrade so far, although I've had a few niggling fuel pump problems (sorted by the dealer).

S & D X50 or not? Is 420 bhp enough or do you think it was worth stumping up the extra dough and getting the 450 bhp top banana???

Unfortunately not the top banana here. No X50.

It was an impulse buy actually. I had just wrecked my C4 Cabrio (car was parked when a moron barrelled into it), so I went to the dealer to inquire about suitable bodyshops and such. Saw the Turbo in the showroom and was impressed with it. Salesman offered me a test drive and before I knew it I was off on the new car. It was pretty sudden. I wanted a GT2 but I was told they were special order only and that none were for sale in my area.

The car is my daily driver, actually it's turning into my wife's daily driver, so I still don't see a need for all that power. Even now the car is a handful.

Cheers
