Smoked Salmon soup.

Fry chopped onion with clove of garlic in oil and butter in saucepan until soft.
Fill saucepan 2/3 with boiling water.
Add one veg stock cube and one chicken stock cube.
Add 6 peeled cubed potatoes and simmer for 20 mins.
Add 1 pack of flaked hot smoked salmon.
Add pinch of dill.
Turn down heat and stir in 1 pot of single cream.
Season to taste and serve with buttered rye bread.

The best soup is your Mother's Chicken Soup.

So my children will prefer my wife's Chicken Soup to my mothers.
