I've posted up a few of my pics from Goodwood yesterday ...

Great day out, not even a little problem with my car (subject of another thread) could spoil.

Highlights are too many to list fully but if you're off today tomorrow you are in for a real treat.

Anyone know the light blue 2.7RS in my pics? I followed it down the A3 and towards Goodwood then lost it when my clutch problems began. Later on I spotted it parked up right behind the F1 paddock.

Seconded by me, Friday is the best for FOS, I would now only go on the weekend if you paid me- the crowds are daft.

Revival very differnet to FOS but is absolutely & utterly excellent.

I agree Friday was great. Crowds ok and weather just perfect. Shame I did not see anybody from PH

Tony, I feel exactly the same. Went for the first time on Friday - best moment must have been sitting in the supercar enclosure about 20ft behind the Carrera GT with a cold beer in hand and the Red Arrows flying over head .

The only (very slight) disappointment was that a minority of drivers were really going for it up the hill. I guess this was because it was practice day, perhaps next year I'll try Saturday or Sunday - or are the crowds really that much worse?

Wiggo, I was there on the Saturday and whilst there was a lot of people, I did not think it was that bad. Bearing in mind that I had two young kids and a wife in tow, we came out of it without a divorce and the kids still alive.... which is better than an average trip to the High Street. The crowds were definitely not a reason to put anybody off IMO.

Next year will involve two days, camping (or a local B&B), plenty of Guinness, plenty of Champagne (maybe the odd bottle of Smirnoff Ice), and no wife/kids.
