Hi all

Long time no post !

Can anybody recomend a good independent in my area ?

I understand that Powertec @ Surlingham no longer exists & RPI @ Horsford don't service. Not really inclined to let Kerridges have it for starters of 500
squids ( my experience of main dealers means that will be closer to a 1000 all in ! )

Also whats latest thinking on tyres ? Seems theres no SO2's around, SO3's approx 105 a corner. What about other makes ? I don't sprint so not tied to Bridges ;o)

Cheers

Tim 450SE ( The Arabian )

P.S. Feel free to e-mail of list if you wish

Hi Tim,

Just had our Chim serviced at Offords In Cambs and would recommend them with no hesitation. Did MOT while there as well. Free courtesy car supplied plus free pick and delivery depending on distance. We are in Kings Lynn and that was no problem but I reckon it depends which side of Norwich you are on.

Give them a ring.

www.offord.com

Good pricing too

Great, thanks !

They don't list service prices for the big Wedges so I'll give them a call. We're based in Stratton St Michael wich is approx 8 miles south of Norwich.

Some great roads round your way ( outside of the
'Hardwick' rush hour )

Cheers

The roads are indeed great round here and the Hardwick roundabout problem will be solved (hopefully) in November once the flyover is finished.

Many of the members in the Suffolk/Norfolk Car Club now use Scole Engineering at Diss. They certainly know their way around TVR's.

Richard

p.s. Wanna meet up for a pint as I live near Long Stratton...?)E-mail me.

Richard

Thanks for that, do you have their contact details handy ?

"Wanna meet up for a pint" Is the Pope a Catholic ?

Unfortunately we are without the Wedge at moment
due to i/ running on slicks ii/ expired MOT !

Have seen the odd Chim and a couple of Tuscans locally but no Griffs. Since moving up from Kent last October
the priority has been making the new ( old ) house
watertight so the 450 has suffered somewhat.

We are driving down to the Dordogne with another 430
soon so need to get our car sorted PDQ.

Just off to Brancaster / Titchwell Manor for lunch ( sans Wedge )but we would love to meet up as L/S could definately do with a convoy of TIVS if only to show some of the local 'youfs' what a big exhaust pipe connected to the 'right' car sounds like.

Cheers

Scole Engineering are on 01379 740940. If you ring and no one answers straight away hold on as they are always very busy.

Welcome to pop round and see the modded Griff if you want. Will e-mail you offline for the pint.
