Happy New Year!!

Just wondering if anyone uses their Tuscan or any other TVR for that matter for everyday use?

I can imagine that the running costs would be £££££

Cheers

Hi C,

I have used my Tasmin for everyday use in Germany and Switzerland before changing to a Chimaera and now my Tuscan.
All used daily very few reliability issues and great fun.
Have had more problems and costs with "ordinary" cars.

Cant quantify costs over the years but very happy.
The only excesive spend has been on my Tuscan which I bought October 2006 and have spent on engine rebuild, shocks, geometry, new alloys etc because I wanted to get her right asap so that I can enjoy her.......which I am.

I use mine every day, the only running costs i find steep is the price of fuel. Servicing is not to bad if you shop around (ask on here to see who is flavor of the month) average 6000 mile service £600, about a grand for a 12,000, but you can find this a lot cheaper.
Please dont try to run one of these on a shoe string as with all cars somethink will go pop, and if you want a reliable car USE the bloody thing.
