December 2007 Competition - Results Thread
Discussion
A quiet month for entries but that doesn't seem to have effected the quality.
A few honourable mentions first as ever.
Elderly.

A well thought out image that just lacks a little punch, I think mainly because the colours are too close together. I think it would have worked much better in B&W.
Mrs Fish.

A good interpretation of Party and one of the images from the monthly thread that I hoped would be entered. Personally I preferred the larger crop, I think the tighter crop has lost a little of the impact that the larger one has.
Ol.

I really like this one, it captures the theme well, is nicely balanced and has beautiful colour (I prefer this version to either of the others you posted) and if it wasn't for a for late entries it would have made the top 3.
Top three time ...
In 3rd place;
Rhubarb.

One of the best multiple exposure pictures I've seen on PH, I like the interaction between a number of the versions of you. The only thing that would have improved it for me would have been a few changes of clothes.
In 2nd place;
V6GTO.

I don't know what it is about this picture that I like, but I do. It stood out to me as soon as I saw it. The colours are vibrant, the balance works well and given that it was taken with a P&S camera in very low light it's remarkably sharp.
And finally our winner.
In 1st place;
MartinP.

I love this one. Great composition, lovely depth of field, beautiful tone and it interprets the theme excellently as well. So, congratulations to MartinP, a worthy winner, Also well done to all the entries, it's not been an easy choice this month!
