restoration ramps

happy new year to everyone.

Been thinking about getting under the car and doing some regular checks. just wondering really if anyone has used these type of ramps before?

is anyone else using a different type of ramp to get their car up? saftey is my biggest concern. having my car flatten me would really spoil my day.

Never come across this one before, but looks good, George. Pays for itself after you've used it for about 10-12 hours.

I am getting a 2 post lift to go in the new garage, not much more money than those and a lot more useful, but if you havent got the room for a 2 poster they look a very good choice.

those ramps look bloody ugly, take up loads of room and don't actually allow much working room.

they appear on ebay quite often, usually go for about £800 - £1000.
theres one here

I paid £660, I reckon a bargain. This one was made in Sweden, Clarke do a similar variant and I've seen similar ones available new for about £900 from Ireland, there's some on e-bay today see item 180202171245
The Clarke one does not have the movable arms.
I'll see if I can track down the manufacturer from the handbook

Its an "air hydraulic auto lift" model number L20PH made by AC hydraulic A/S in Denmark.
