Hi guys
Would a small pool of coolant on the floor when the engine is hot and running,i just been for a good run, just behind the spliter in the middle indicate a radiator on the way out.The car has been loosing water for some time but test showed nothing up,all was normal.Is this just now showing its face for larger losses(before i was using approx half pint per 250 miles and no puddles)and a replacement the way or is there any other weak spots down there.

I had a similar poblem with my tuscan the only difference being mine would only loose water when very very hot. It was only when I left it in the garage running for over 45 mins did it get hot enought for the rad to show the leak. I left minelike this far too long as I wasn't sure what was going on ending up in replacing the cylinder head gasket 
. Get it changed ASAP is my advice.

why did you do that?'Cause it was the only way I could find to figure what was going on !!.
I could do 250 motorway miles and loose no water whatsoever. I'd then do 50 country road miles / start stop and loose 1/2 litre. I couldn't understand what was going on and I could never find any coolant under the car - ever.
Whilst the car was running I basically took the whole front end off so I could get a proper look at the rad. With the benefit of hindesight you're probably correct that it wasn't the wisest thing to do - but it'd already been to one dealer who couldn't find anything - so I had to try something. Whether this did my cylinder head gasket is anyones guess - but the temps did behave themselves whilst I did this because I kept a very close eye on them.

Kind of my thoughts if it is the cause and the reason for the gradual loss of coolant over the last 1000 miles. . Get it changed ASAP is my advice.Cheers
