I was bought a TVR driving day by my wife for xmas - the 2 tracks available are Bruntingthorpe and Long Marston. Has anyone been on these tracks which would you recommend both are a similar distance away.

It says you get 2 sessions of 3-5 laps i assume you get the 3 laps on the bigger track so which should i choose?

Slightly swayed by the fact that Vulcan XH558 is at Bruntingthorpe smile

Hi Kevin,

Not having driven at either venue I can't help with your question I'm afraid (although I too would be tempted to go for Bruntingthorpe for the same reason!), but as you hadn't received a reply, I though I'd wish you well with your 'experience', I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Do you know which TVR will you be driving?

Paul

I don't know Long Marston. Bruntingthorpe has a lot of plus points, or did last time I went a couple of years ago, very large run off areas, no barriers etc as it isn't a race circuit. If you really lose it you'll squash a few cones and maybe collect some grass. The track itself I recall as being a bit rough but I don't suppose that matters. I don't think you could go too far wrong with Bruntingthorpe, especially for a one off driving experience.

hi. my wife bought us a tvr driving experience for two last christmas and we did it at bruntingthorpe in september. Ours involved being driven round in an evo for one lap to be shown the track then 4 laps with an instructor in a tuscan which was great fun. We were the only ones I could see doing the tvr one whilst everyone else was queueing for the lambo/ferrari experience! I enjoyed bruntingthorpe and it had a good long straight.
Good luck you'll enjoy it.

I know both facilities. Brunters, without a doubt as it is a track with reasonable black top.
