where to find a 400 for sale

I have been looking for a nice 400se for some time but am struggling to find one. Ive look on PH classifieds, tvrcc classifieds, tvr webmart, Steve Reid classic tvr, and various main dealer websites. If any of you know of any other good places to look i would be gratful if you could let me know.

Thats about a good choise as any. And autotrader and e bay on occasion. When you mean "nice" how nice? The ones on offer seem very good.

Id really like a red / cream one, but would also go for mica blue. I want as good a condition as i can find. if youve seen wedge400's, that the sort of thing im looking for.

Maybe it's just me but there doesn't seem to be as many advertised for sale as there used to be. I must say that restored 450SE looks good but pricey @ 14.5K

You've listed all the usual suspects, keep checking Autotrader's website, it updates every Thursday about 9ish so you can get in smartish if something comes up u like.

If I could find one as good as my old one I'd buy it yesterday.

It's not red or mica blue, but the 'gunmetal' 400 at Steve Reids used to belong to a friend of mine, it is in stunning condition. The previous owner spent a sizeable wedge on it, it had no mechanical issues, it was an OK 400 when he bought it (from Steve Ried) and he just wanted it to be perfect, he used to do it over the kitchen table (polish the wheels) A WELL SORTED MOTOR, will you find better It is a nice colour, but it's not red or blue, is it that important???

Got in touch with Steve Reid at the weekend regarding the Grey one but its already sold !

Peninsula have a 400 for sale... Probably needs a good paint job, but after that it would be really tidy. inside is v clean

When I was first looking for a wedge I got in touch with Steve Reid about the grey one. That was over 18 months ago and it had sold then! It's been on his website ever since.

That wedge at peninsular - that's not the light blue
one is it .. that was the most sorryful looking wedge
- that I ever saw.

Even the OZ alloys had been been painted silver !!

DickyMint - there is a nice blue one (owned by Vince)
on the south coast (advertised here) - I have seen
the car and it's a good one.

His price is a bit steep though ... and it's been
for sale for about a year - maybe he is ready to
come down a bit !

Yes i did. Thank you for sending them. Although the car looks nice ive decided i dont want to compromise on the colour scheme of monza red / cream. If you have any red/cream ones come up please get in touch as ive got all this cash hanging around and i want to find a toy to spend it on !
