Went out over Christmas in the Tuscan and had an intermitant problem of the indicators not always flashing. ie they stay on constant with the bulbs lit up until switching them off.

I stopped at a garage as thought it might be that one of the bulbs had blown but this was not the case both front and rear on each side worked

Any one got any clues?!

Thanks in advance

If it's just a front buld playing up it might be corrosion in the bulb holder. If it's a rear LED indicator(at the top of the rear screen) playing up there is a circuit board inside the body of the car beside the bottom of the drivers seat, accessed from the inside, check the connections there. Just seen you have a Tuscan S, so not sure if this board is there or not, it might just be for the LED lights.

Thanks for the prompt response Whitey

Yes it is an S so doesnt have LED rear indicators and to be honest not sure if it has the boards you mention.

because it happened intermitantly and could be on either side when flicking the indicator stalk up i thought it might be more electrical or even because it was very cold that what ever the indicator stalk makes contact with ? microswitch ? might just be sticking ? as you can tel my technical knowledge is somewhat limited....

Relay?...there is a relay in the fuse box (relay 32) that operates the indicators, maybe there is a poor connection here or a dodgy relay unit.
