VIN Number marking?

I have a RR Classic of 1987 which has a VIN plate riveted to the body.

Question is, does it also have the VIN stamped somewhere on the chassis and if so where?

Chassis no should be stamped on the chassis forward of the right hand front wheel.

Is that on the side of the chassis rail or on top?

Hi, yes the chassis No is stamped on the side of the chassis rail, facing the outside of the car.

Found it. Right between the steering box bolts but very faint.
Bonus is it matches the VIN plate.

Always good to know the numbers match!!

Its amazing how many have numbers that don`t match, and, ones that have been welded over to cover a chassis change or previous damage.
