Nordschleife Icebreaker!

75 Experience! is holding a track day on the Nuerburgring Nordschleife on the 10th of March.

is Ron going to fit crampons or snow chains on the car? I'm surpised Brendan hasn't tried an icespeedway bike round there yet...

Sure wopuld be fun to get some proper snowy laps in!

Ron has a great supply of Pirelli rally tyres, but I haven't seen any studded ones in the collection, so I guess chains will have to be provided.

I'm sure if someone lent him the bike, Bren would have a go.

there was a video posted on the Porsche forum some time ago which featured one of the Weissach test drivers (I believe) taking a 996 around the N/S in very deep snow at a fair pace. Like ballet on ice! (As is watching Herr Rohrl take a '68 911R around the Ring backwards in the damp/wet). chrs
