No radiohead makes a lot of people commit suicide, why listen to depressing music unless you have the death march on shuffle.
It's a strange mix is RHead.......sublimely uplifting melody mixed with a fatalistic lyrical outlook. They(Thom)have been in therapy and it's all looking rosier in the graveyard.

Strangely, I find The Bends liberating. Some nights I'll grab a few beers and scream my house down to it.
Funny, cos I don't find Radiohead depressing at all. What does that say about me?Damn, I meant to buy Mojo today as I knew there was an article on r'head in it. Anyone else seeing them this year?

Was kinda sat with Mrs K shuffling through the i-pod and Radioheads 'The Bends' came on. Realised I'd avoided listening to it for the past 10 years for fear it would bring back memories of less happy times.
Is it just me?

Radiohead Street Spirit evokes some pretty strong emotionsIs it just me?

In Rainbows is excellent, I dont find Radiohead depressing at all, quite the opposite actually.

If you want depressing try Elliott Smith.

Think OP meant he gets depressed because the song reminds him of unhappy memories rather than the band.....??Is it just me?

If the above is what you are on about OP there is a song I also avoid 2 actually...Confessions by Usher and get out by jojo, because they bring back unhappy memories for me.
....think I need a few moments on the antidepressants thread now
