Hi all

After suffering a flat battery. i have now purchased an Accumate trickle charger.

Has anyone fitted one permenantly to the battery with the lead supplied. The one with the weather proof connector.

Question is. With the battery being in the wheel arch, do you fit and just leave the plug hanging out? or is there a way that the plug can be pushed behind the battery cover fo a little protection?

Dont want to cock it up!!

Why not just use the cigarette lighter via the appropriate adaptor?

You can route this easily via the window seal - still have the car secure and the alarm on if need be...

It's a lot less grief - trust me! wink

What he said, mine is mounted on the wall next to the drivers side, with the wire cable tied to the roof beam and it drops down by drivers door.
Pull in , switch off, open door, plug in , shut door.

Err what could be easier?

Just because you've been given x or y adaptor with the charger doesn't mean you have to use them!

Make life as easy as possible. Why spend more time than is necessary grovelling on the floor of your garage?
