ST200/ST24 2.5 engine
Discussion
Seems odd, as in terms of HT leads there was no difference.
Over the ST24, the ST200 engine has; extrude honed upper & lower inlet manifolds, larger diameter throttle body, heads are extrude honed on the inlets, cams are lighter (hollow), but they are same profile and lift but different duration. Pistons are different resulting in higher comp ratio and are lighter. Rods are sintered, crank is "specially selected" and it has a lighter flywheel. :geek:

That will be for the St200 then, why didn't you go for the KV85 ones?

have had the kv85s on numerous cars and to be honest i dont think they are any better also they only come in red
Would you notice anything better with the 8mm over the std ones.
I'm running anbout 350bhp on a 2.5 and have been told its worth getting some new leads. Also I've been told it maybe a good idea to look at going to single coils rather than the coil pack that is on the 2.5 (the 3lts has single coils).
