Westfield Insurance
Discussion
I'm currently insuring my 205 with Elephant but will be replacing it with a 1991 1.6 Westfield on a Q plate soon. I'm pretty confident Elephant wont insure it so I'll have to cancel my policy and move elsewhere.
Who do you recommend, what sort of cost should I anticipate and what's the chances of getting trackday cover included?
I expect to do approx 5000 miles per year including some european trips (Le Mans, Nurburgring etc.)
Any help/advice appreciated.

If you definitely want trackday cover, then Competition Car Insurance in Nottingham are probably your best bet.
You pay a premium for it - my FW400 costs me just under £400 per year with them, with 4 free track days thrown in, whereas without the trackday cover, one of the specialist brokers like Footman James, Graham Sykes, or Backford Bloor would probably be around £175, from past experience (for me, that is - late 30's, good record/location and £17.5K car value). Compared to getting the trackday cover as a separate policy, though, the road risk + track day policy from CCI is a bargain...
