Not exciting I know, but if anyone could help me out with an answer to this it would be appreciated:-

I had a fault with my memory seats, now fixed under warranty but two things I want to check.

1. According to the manual the memory function is only supposed to work with the ignition off. Car manuals are not always correct, so do other cars have the buttons 'live' whilst the engine is running or is this incorrectly wired somehow ?

2. When I fold the seat forward to give access to the rear it runs forward under power automatically (as it should) but not all the way. The last few inches of travel can only be completed using the power controls by hand. Do other cars do this ?

Any help gratefully received as I don't want to tell the dealer its still faulty if all cars do this.

Thanks in advance.idea

My buttons work while driving - I do sometimes fiddle with the driving position and store the new position while going along.

Not sure about 2. The seats move way too slowly for me to ever wait long enough to see if they move all the way or not.....

Now if only Wortec would make a supercharged electric seat moving thing....

same as above

1.) is the same for me
2.) not sure

What i do find is the Ro seats are depentant on the clothes I wear as to whether they are comfy or not. I find the shoulder blade area very uncomfy if I am wearing a belt! In 18 months I havent cracked the seating position yet - most disappointing!

Seats are super comfy for me - must be my svelte and athletic physique...... (maybe not!)

I meant on my jeans wink Take a belt off and the slight difference is amazing.

Seats are comfy, no doubt, but the 350z was in a league 10 times better than this. I guess they were designed for the fatter Australian/American market or perhaps the fatter middle class owners over here. It seems younger fitter drivers are discriminated against frown
