Hi,

Just wondered if anyone has fitted front parking sensors to their R8?

Ironically enough, installing parking sensors and the like is what i actually do for a living, but what i really would like is to be able to integrate them into the radio display, as per the oem rear sensors.
As good as they are, the kits i supply at work will not do this, plus they look different to the ones already fitted.

I've had a look on both Holden's and HSV's websites and the only Commodore i've seen to have front sensors is the Senator Signature. Even though this car has a different shape front bumper to the R8, surely electronically the car has to be fairly similar.

So, here's my question. Has anyone got hold of, or know of, a genuine upgrade from GM for front sensors?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

£15 off E. Bay... smile Just fitted a set to the front bumper of my Monaro. Came with everything needed although you only get the beeping to warn you - no flash displays.

Nige,

We can do a 4 eye rear kit on the E Class, colour coded to match the bumper for £220.00

What part of the country are you in?

That's very good Dave.

I live in Essex but am frequently in Sussex (Brighton) and Mrs N often goes to Gatwick.

Thanks Nige,

I'm based in North Hants, about 1 hour from Brighton (ish), near to J4a of the M3.

If you wanna go ahead, give me a nudge!

Cheers chap.

I'll take this to e-mail now (need to speak with Mrs N to see what her movements are going to be) - sorry for the de-rail.
