My Discovery '95 has just failed it's MOT for inpart a small hole in the amber section of the rear indicator lens.

What I at first thought was a 2 minute job, now looks like a job from hell, with according to the manual requiring the rear side seat being removed, for easier access to the indicator panel.

Is there any easier way of replacing the lens, other than removing the seat, which I can't remove the screws and therefore the seat?

I don't know if this will help, but I'm pretty sure that Halfords do a repair kit for lenses with stick-on clear, red and orange plastic sheets. This should be MOT-able as well.

If it isn't too big stick a bit of amber tape over it. If you need to change the lens it is a bit fiddly but you can do it without removing the seat. Take the panel off and there are 2 wing type nuts, one top and bottom, the top one is the bugger to get at.
