s2 rear brake pipes

i know there have been threads before but all i can find is a quote saying that they are from a talbot i spent 1.5 hours trying to identify them at the motorfactors does anybody know what talbot they are from or a part no for them just for interest they are 200mm long and are theaded 3/8 unf at both ends

Definately a Talbot part. I bought some from my local Motor Factor last year and I thought I had kept the box, but unfortunately no! Suspect its that little Sunbeam hatchback that they eventually put a Lotus engine into. It only took a few minutes at my factors using the original (in 2 pieces) as a model). Best of luck. Andy J.

If you are replacing the rigid pipes as well you could change the mating unions to metric and they would fit the flexis used for Sierras and other Fords. Might be easier then to find what you need.

hi thanks guys i had thought of new copper pipes and changing the ends that go on the flexible pipe to metric then the capri flexi pipe will fit its only about 10mm longer but being lazy i thought id ask just incase anybody knew
