Multiple waypoints
Discussion
One of my biggest grievances with my Garmin 360 is it's inability to input more than one waypoint for any given journey. I know that Tom Toms have the facility to set up an itinerary, but I'm not a fan of Tom Tom.
Can anyone confirm that the Garmin 7xx series is able to handle multiple waypoint itineraries, as I seem to recall hearing a rumour to that effect?

Yes that is the main advantage of the Garmin 7XX over the 6XX, including putting the waypoints in the best order, and the ability to upload the 'itinerary' from Mapsource to the unit (but maps for the PC may be extra).
On the other hand I have read that the speaker is less good on the 7XX than the 6XX, time to first fix is longer (due to not having the aerial flap) and no carry-case is included.
In most other ways there is little change.
I decided to replace my Garmin 660 with a TT 920, after considering a garmin 770, and am happy that I did. See other threads.
