Not long until the £70k 612
Discussion
Looking at some adverts, it seems the 612 will turn out to be very unloved ? The first under £100k retailer here http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/297958.htm
Another 12 months and they will be where 575's are now and in2 yrs may even be c£60k !
Cheers

I was only trying to predict [static economy] where these would go to. The one I linked to is coming up 4 yrs old and at 6 yrs old I see it at £65k or perhaps a tad less. A 2002 456 is around £55k from a respected dealer retail. And I see the 612 in the same light.
Conversely the 550 & 575 are still holding up well at c£45-50k for 7yr old ones [550] and £75k or so for 3 to 4 yr old 575's. These two seem to be bucking the trend of front engined Ferrari's particularly the manual 550 & 550 Barchetta.

Someone posted on here that it's not unheard of to bag a discount on new one as the dealers are oblidged to sell one or two to keep the factory happy and the factory underwrites it somehow.
I like them in the right colour (dark) but anyone who buys new must have a reasonably sound understaning of the concept of 'disposable income'!

There are always targets to be met, so the dealer may have been accomodating with their margin in order to keep the factory/importer sweet and get better allocation on the more popular models ?
As a consumer, everything is okay as long as the price is right. So you get a 612 for a "deal" then you take it on an operating lease [closed ended usership] as a vat qualifier, suddenly it all looks a little less painful. You did'nt throw away £25k on vat to Messers Darling & Brown etc etc
