Hi guys, have my CBT on saurday, so need to sort my insurance out.

Where's the best place to go? I'd like it as cheap as possible as i'm poor wink

It's for a 50cc, so no hyper-performance bike smile

Thanks,
Dan.

No idea what that is but, i was quoted £189 for a geared 50.

Go on GoCompare or BikingNeeds so you can compare quotes wink

you looking for third party only?
or third party fire and theft because £352.50 for third party would be ridiculous.

that's for third party, nobody knows what the bike is, and i'm getting f'ked off to the max, dunno wether to sell it when it has the new gearbox and get a new one, or keep it and pay the 350, to be fir it does 45mph as standard.

Sell it get a Derbi GPR, same as a Cagiva Prima wink But it might be quite hard to sell your bike, seeing as no-one knows what it is!!! Or the older Yamaha TZR 50 is a good bike and looks like your cagiva Cocis if thats the sorta style you want. Faster too, always a good thing

Thing is, the other bikes will be over 1k for a good one, i paid 400 fr this so i'm not too bothered, will keep it, and de-restrict it to 60 smile.

Even with a 50 your insurance is gonna be high. I'm currently paying £240 TP only on a Gilera DNA 50 with Carole Nash. To have TPFT it would cost about £400 with a £500 excess, meaning if it was stolen I would have spent £900 for them to give me £700 back. I just went with TP only and bought a good lock and always use it.

Yeah, i don't really midnow, have a good lock anyways, will keep it in my bag at all times, and make sure i put my steering lock on so no tw@t can push it away into a van (no chance of lifting the font up!!!) i could leave it in 1st aswell i suppose?
