Finally done it!!!
Discussion
After about 2 years of should i, shouldn't i, finally took the plunge and bought myself a TVR.
Was planning on getting a Cerb but found a lovely looking Tuscan in purple with purple/cream interior near me on Saturday. Had a good look round it, talked to the garage and signed for it today.
Now all of got to do is wait to have a wheel/tyre checked as it has a slow puncture, get the heater fixed as it's intermittant and get a new MOT put on it.
Should be out playing in it by next week! Really can't wait now. Just hope I get a month or two of use before it has to go into the garage for the first repair, lol!

Lol, yeah there's gonna be a fair power hike from the M3 but at least i've got some experience with fast rear wheel drive cars and no traction control.
There will definately be no heavy right foot action for the first few months of ownership until I get used to the car and the conditions allow it as well. Made that mistake before and it didn't go well.

Thanks for the warnings guys, i'll take care with it! I bought it for the looks noise and pose factor first, the power is just a nice bonus so won't be nailing it on every occasion though i'm sure the temptation will overcome me every so often,
.
Not enjoying waiting for it already and it's only been a day, lol! Called my insurance comp yesterday, £569 isn't too bad i reckon though will be doing a search of different companies when i get it to see if i can get a better deal.
Out of curiousity as well, any Scottish owners in tayside? What company do you use for your servicing/repairs. The car has been to one in Perth and Edinburgh for it's work, just wondered if anyone had any views or advice for me.
Cheers.

Thought Dreadnought would be the place to go, it's the closest to me as well so all is good.
As for the colour, it's Tustain Purple. Looks great in the flesh and really goes well with the interior. Really can't complain about the looks of the thing.
When i get it, i'll post some pictures. The pictures on the net are nice but want to get some proper ones taken before i put them up.
All i need to do now is sell the M3 when i get it back from it's M.O.T, lol.

snap! bought a tuscan to replace my E36 m3 evo, my first tvr and now im hooked. still have the beemer at mo as cant seem to get the right price for it but dont they feel slow compared to the raw power and slideability of a tuscan
Yeah, still got my Beemer as well. Once I get it MOT'd it'll be up for sale. TVR is such a different beast, not opened it up yet due to weather but you can just feel the power it has. Still love the Beemer but not quite as much now, lol!Gassing Station | Tuscan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
