The only one I see sometimes in Brussels is dark blue and looks really good in the files. I remain unsure about the design when I see it close to elise /exige at the dealer shop. But in real traffic you see from far away that this is a sport car but not a porsche or something else frequent.

Good on you for going for a Europa...........I like them. I think a subtle colour like a dark blue or grey suits them most.

I think black ones look awesome, with black wheels too this would look really mean.

Nice answers, but very classic colours, unfortunately, my best choice was aubergine purple, lotus racing green or nightfall blue : Cancelled for 2008 !

I have to order next friday, so please another effort ?!

Black, without any shadow of a doubt. It'll look like a baby Fezza. Check out Thorney's car and imagine it in black. Utterly gorgeous.

If you are feeling really brave... White with the black and white luxury interior and black wheels! I think that looks great!

As for the Europa, good on you. I'm in the middle of deciding what car to get in March. I've tested the Exige S and was blown away, awesome car; but I'm waiting on a test in the Europa to see what that is like. I really like the design - its a grower. When it was first launched everyone slagged it but if you look form the rear I can see bits of the R8 in it (or the other way round) and the new Farbio or whatever it is (in this months Evo) is very similar. I think the Europa's time will come, probably once Lotus have stopped making them!!

If I do go down the Europa route the above will be my scheme. If I go Exige it will be white unless there are any more club racers kicking about which could be tempting...!

Black and Silver are the best two colours, followed by Magnetic Blue & Krypton Green

Black because it looks mean
Silver because I think that the contrasts work well
Magnetic Blue because it works well
Krypton Green with Black Wheels for the sheer balls off it, but owning one in that colour might be harder to live with.

I don't thnk any of the mid tones work that well because of the angles of the panels.

Love the Europa and always have,

I'd go for either Krypton Green (Whatever the replacement's colour is called) or Black, have the Luxury interior but get it done in cream with black or Black with Green for the green option.

Would buy one myself but Mrs Boggy need's 4 seat's, may still buy one some day thou

Hi

Many thanks to all of you!
You're right when you say that the Europa is growing up in the hearts. People have to see the photografied ugly duck in real life, and this will change their point of vue.
I bought the Z4M coupé because no new and no aftersales for TVR T350C in north of France, but the real pure sportscar feeling and passion comes with no doubt from GB !
My co-pilot is 83 (!!!), and she said "not another Elise" or Exige, so my compromise was evident.
After a test ride, I forgot the compromise :> the Europa is REALLY a very good car; and with the CO2 discussion, unbeatable.

So I will order between Starlight black, Storm titanium, or Persian blue.

I'll send pics when it's happened!

Gilles

Hi

I have one in black with cream and black full leather interior and it looks great. The grey ones also look good but they are quite comman. I thought I would love it in purple but I went to see the one in Leeds and did not think it great. If you want pics send me your e mail address and I will send some through.
Car great to drive but if you know what your doing with a mid engined car get Thorney to do the suspension. Only cost £150 and works really well.

good luck

When they advertised it for sale at just under £ 40k I almost fell of my chair with laughter.

Even at £ 36.950 I still think that they will struggle.

I reckon it looks stunning in Canyon Red. I've noticed alot more new cars in red too recently and it's growing on me. Or is it just me?

I agree with the above that the Europer's grower, I'm certainly becoming more interested in it the more I see them (online not on the road!!)

Cheers.
