I am getting more and more confused, i am looking to improve the seats in my 94 Chim, however i am confused on the following:
Recover (1/2 Leather) Cost approx £500
Reconnolise existing Cost approx £500
or
Replace, preferably with the later style, however seem to have trouble finding replacements, and may end up with something in similar state to what i already have, and what cost can i expect to pay for a good secondhand pair?
Douglas valley have quoted me between £500 - £750, but have none in at the moment
Also if i go for the reconnolise / recover, what is the advantage of reconnolising seats when the recover costs are nearly the same.
Thanks in advance
Steve
Ps: If anyone has a good pair of seats (Magnolia) for sale please mail me!

!
I popped into A & R Pound in Baldock on Saturday (they do a lot of work for Aston etc.) and was told that a 1/2 leather/vinyl (ie standard trim) recover for my magnolia seats would be £350.Recover (1/2 Leather) Cost approx £500
!
correct me if i am wrong but reconolising is just spraying the leather with a mixed to match colour,
in my experience they clean the leather first, then spray on paint.
it looks excellent for selling a car but will only last 6 months of driving, also costs approx £180.
if keeping the car i would recover or renew,or upgrade to leather buckets!!
