Won't surprise anyone here - but me ( being a dumbass ) passed DAS - had Fazer in garage - called a compny being with a B ( has plenty of nice ladies at MOTO GP) got quoted £380 3rd party with pillion, break down cover and cover incase somone hit me from behind - accepted straight away and paid so I could get out...looking back i was probably done..next time I will shop around..think I was done..but as I said at start..that won't surprise any of you guys silly

You were done.
Certain companies (beginning with a B. then an E. then an N etc) were under orders not pay out in the event of a claim unless the policyholder threatened legal action. Not sure whether thats still in place, but 'Holroyde vs Highway Insurance Group (2006)' since got a bit of notice...
What was ESPECIALLY funny is that when the court laughed in Highways face and ordered them to pay the claim, Bennetts STILL tried to claim that my loss wasn't covered, and that I hadn't read my documents properly.
Which dumbass tries to con a broker at his own game?
Oh, Kal Samra...

Will shop around next time mate (whenever that might be) maybe even send you an email and get expert advice - either way i will certainly shop around..I think the exitment of having just passed and having a bike in garage waiting on me on a hot summers day got the better of me and I called and grabbed the first policy offered just so I could jump on bike... I remember calling with my leathers on ready to go !

Well how about this,26 had a new MV and got taken off it by some idiot in his escourt. Was paying around 5-600 fully comp but did have £1000 excess, all sorted very quickly etc on the payout, whilst all paperwork going back and forth i was about a month away from renewing insurance. Sent me letter for renewal for same bike! at around £450 a year fully comp again!

just tried them for my R1, now want cicra £3,000 a year...... stick to track days and off road riding i think!

I haven't passed my test yet and ATM pay 130 TPFT for my CG125 with 1 yr NCB.
Tomorrow I pick up my '98 1200 Bandit and by transfering my NCB to the Bandit guess how much?

£160 TPFT
And to insure my CG without NCB (commute to work) it'll be......
£160 TPFT LOL

So £320 for the year
and a quote I got to insure both on a multibike policy ..... £554
