Edit: Just noticed you can get them through Pistonheads, I thought it was the press day on Friday?? Or is that just a certain bit?

Im going onm friday but not in the cerb. 320d is weapon of choice. Was going to get the train until I checked the price of train tickets......45 quid return from London! With 2 of us going that is 90 quid!! ridiculous when you think we could probably do it with 25 quids worth of diesel!

Pistonheads show is 11-13th, Autosport show public days are 12 and 13th, Sat/Sun. Hth.

I have spoken to the NEC and friday is a public and trade day which means there will be some trade stands (e.g. engineering firms) that wont be there on the weekend. You can go on friday no probs and the autosport bit will be open to the public.

I've manned a stand at Autosport and it as manic! Saturday morning is like the first day of the sales!!!!! And anything of any value is locked away.

If Friday is open to the public, I'm sure there are still some restrictions, no kids for example.

I usually go to the autosport show as trade on the Thursday but can't get away this year, I'm dreading the Sat rush

Hopefully should be going on the saturday - presumably you can buy tickets on the door and don't need to book in advance for both the exhibition and the show?
