T350 going on sale, bad time of year or good ????

Hi everyone,

I'm sadly getting rid of my much loved T350 for a 4 door but want to know if it is a bad time or good time of the year to put on sale, is it to soon before the good weather comes and people start thinking of buying a nice car or is it a good time as people think prices could be low due to winter ??

My T350c is in perfect condition not a mark anywhere on body or wheels, aircon, in midas yellow pearl, 31k miles, full TVR dealer service history, big spec, going up for £18,750, anyone think this is to cheap or to expensive ??? dealers just seem to take the piss when it comes to valuation you car !!!

All your thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated.

I think the market is a little dormant at the moment and March is probably a better time to sell (or as soon as we get that first wiff of spring in the air!!!).

As for price, I think that the market for a yellow car is possibly smaller than say silver/blue/black/red but that can work in your favour if a buyer wants that particular colour then the choices are much less.

If you are keen to sell then I would have thought £2k above trade-in prices is a good starting point.

Bloody Hell! How did you manage 30000 miles without a single stone chip or have you had the front painted?

The fact that it's fitted with a V6 instead of the Speed6 should improve your chances.

Most definitly not a V6, i owned the car for nearly 4 years.

If anyone on the Pistonheads forum knows what a great T350 my car is that would be Mr Valhala !

Deffo a typing error about purchasing it for £44k, would have been the worst financial decision I ever made if I brought it for just! £44k and then selling it a few months later for £18k !!!

I'm hoping to buy a M3 CSL (sorry for the swear word), I know it does not have 4 doors but it has 4 seats

Got a BMW dealer offering me good money for the T350 in part ex with the CSL but have only put the T350 for sale today on classifields, so will see how this goes for a week or so.
