Off foranother back operation tomorrow...first one was far from a success. tried riding again and this has not been helping and indeed caused a few disagreements between me the one i cherish (she might be reading this !) So bike is back up for sale...but maybe later this year I will be able to get something else..but right now I'm glad if I can walk 5 minutes down the road without wanting to collapse in agony..and the diazepam etc don't help. So I would just like to thank everyone here who has made my long boring days stuck in front of the pc more bareable...I will lurk around the forum after my operation....but might not say much since I'll no longer be a biker
Until then all the best guys...stay safe.

Morning Barry,
Shit, sorry to hear you're having another op. BUT, you have noticed a difference from before the last one, so that's a positive. When's the 2nd go?
Don't blame you for selling the bike mate, but don't forget spring is only around the corner!!!
Good luck with the op mate, and if you get bored and fancy a chat about a load of old bo!!ox, just give me a shout. Keep ya chin up mate, and keep posting with updates.
Cheers and good luck,
Nick.

They removed 1 disc and partially removed another...the one that was partially removed is now causing me really bad pain..they reckon part of the disc has moved into the space made when they removed part it 5 weeks ago, this is continually rubbing the nerve. Im on dihydrocodine and diazepam along with diclophenic..been on tramadol also. Diazepam i just take now and then to stop it going into spasm..selling bike because i've been off work 6 months and I'm dropping to half wages..bike has been sitting in garage( apart from when I've tried to ride it) had it out last week and was in agony when I got off...g/f wants me to get rid till I'm completely better..will put money from sale aside until I'm 100% - if I keep trying to ride in pain( no matter how much I want to ) I'm a danger to myself and more importantly others on the road..just wanted to say thanks to all who have entertained me since I've been off work..6 months off is a long time..hopefully be back on here asking dumbass questions again.
All the best
Barry.
Cheers podman - I will be looking at buying another bike..once I'm 100%, could be a while, but until then I have various bike forums such as this and Ive just subscribed to a motorbike mag - so plenty of material to research the perfect 2nd bike - will miss biking until then but the back has to come first at the moment...anyways im off for a
before i go under the knife !Thanks to all !
All the best
Barry.
