645 coupe conv what to look for

HI guys.
Did a search but not too much seems to be said re the 6 series...
Was wondering if there are any particular issues with the 645, either coupe or convertible, what the servicing costs are like - £500 a go not too bad...and how they fair - would be looking at a 2004/2005 model in the next few months. Anyone bought an extended warranty - if so how much...M3 scary, or sensible money??
Has there been a face lift (they seem to be 630 & 650 now rather than 6:35 and 645)...
Seem like a bargain big coupe - but what are the pit falls...every car has them.
