Loads of these type of scan adverts in the PH classifieds, most of them are similar and it amazes me how they get by the screening? Maybe it would be better to have to include a phone number or you have to be a PH member before you can advertise.

Jules.

Hi and thanks for contacting me regarding my Cerbera ad ,
The price I want to obtain is 5,000 pounds. The car is registered on my name in UK, has a clear title. If you are interested in buying it I want to tell you from the beginning that I only accept to finalize this deal only in person. We will exchange face to face the money with the car. When you decide to buy it please let me know asap because I will need to take some extra time off from work over the sick-leave I'm currently in, to finish this transaction I am now working in Spain for 3 months and this transaction will take some time (6-8 days) because I need to come back in UK; the car is at my home from there in London , locked in the garage.
I need to remind you this will be completed only in person in UK at your place (distance is not a problem) or a place we will both agree on, where , if you like, you can also perform a tehnical inspection of the car..

Thanks and I am waiting your reply.
anyone want to offer a reply ???

What's the odds of him asking you for his airfare before he flies over?

Hi Brian , thanks for the email.

To save you any wasted time at the moment could you send me the registration of the car , I can then at least carry out some HPI checks etc first before we meet.

Cheers

Matt

So how is this scam going to work, it's got all the traditional "I am overseas" hallmarks, but then throws a slight curveball with the fact that it will all be done in person. Is it going to be a basic case of you turn up with the cash, he turns up with a weapon?

It does seem a rather strange scam. I'm still trying to sell mine and someone from France is interested, don't think I'l bother.

"Thanks so much for the pictures and your quick reply.
I am interesetd but actually i am try to have informations regarding to
register the car in France.
Could you give me the serial number of the car and the year.
The price is negotiable ?"

It's sold now - on the second page of this site...

http://www.automotionleeds.co.uk/all.asp?offset=10

It was advertised on here too, think he dropped the price to £11,995.
