1. Nope, they only have 240hp if fitted with the performance pack option.
2. A limited edition model with jazzy paintwork and interior as well as a few other nice extra's on top of touring pack etc thrown in on top.
3. You can find the specs online and compare, alternately contact one of the dealers advertising the club racer for sale.

No, you can get the Std Exige S 220 bhp or have the performance pack fitted which includes a power upgrade 243bhp (3k)

An Exige CR is a Exige S (220 bhp) with touring, Sport's & Super Sport's pack light blue with black stripes and a few other bit's and bob's thrown in for good measure.

Paint Job and a few bit's and bob's

Spoke to a Florida dealer who currently selling 2008 EXIGE Club racer but he doesn't know if the current 2008 he is selling has 240hp
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-LOTUS-EXIGE_W0...

Later he called me and said, yes its 240hp. Kinda doubt he knows what he is selling.

So, 240hp is an options in 2008?
Is there any 240hp on 2007 ?

Thanks again

There is, to confuse you slightly, an Exige 240R which was a limited run of 50 cars - only available in Black or Yellow - which had 240bhp. That sold out about 18months ago though.

From memory, didn't the cup car have 240bhp?

The club racer is a 220hp car. There certainly are 240hp 07 cars but these are the EXIGE CUP/240R models which were produced as a limited run or a retro fit upgrade.

He does not sound like he knows what he's selling however dont let that stop you from buying a Lotus - truly wonderful cars - just investigate thoroughly. Check out the SELOC WIKI as there is lots of useful information on there.

Also please refrain from posting US prices, it makes all us brits unhappy when we see a car made in the UK, exported to the US and sold for ~$30,000 less frown

Doug...yeah I don't understand it either especially now that the US currency is sucky vs you money. I guess Lotus is not using currency exchange marketing Lotus in the US. Maybe they are looking for more buying power and trying to establish Lotus market in the US....just a guess.

Boggy....thanks nice idea. I think the VIN # is showing in ebay. I might be able to use the number and ask Lotus.
