I have one now, and have been trying to make up my mind which Ford will be my next daily driver.

Focus RS (next one) has massive appeal, but I do 35k a year, and although I look after my cars mechanically, its next to impossible to stop the scrapes, scratches and dents that come over time. It would be painful to do this kind of abuse to an RS. Plus I need it to tow. Currently you cannot fit a towbar to the ST, I assume this would also be the case for the RS. (kind of wrong anyway)

So I suspect it will come down to the next Mondeo ST. Petrol if I am doing less miles, Diesel I am am still racking the miles up.

Well done. Now try communicating on a proper keyboard and not via a mobile phone.

There's nothing wrong with using a mobile for web access / forum posts - it's his spelling thats at fault, not his input device.

I might be buying another ford shortly

Adam - don't be put off by this, welcome to posting on PH!

Please don't feed the animals wink

SHOUTING is hugely frowned upon in almost all internet forums...best avoided.

You thinking about buying a ford?

we have 2 fords now, a focus (2005) and a galaxy (2000). Both seem to be well built, good to drive, miminal hassle so far. The only complaint I have is that both seem to have intermittant, electrical niggles.
