Thinking about swapping the TLR and getting naked!
Discussion
Ok,due to an arm injury TLR is regretably starting to really cause the nerve damage in my arm to flair up.I'm looking for a big naked bike, along the lines of CB1300,gsx1400 sort of thing.Anyone ridden any of these?,will there be a huge drop in performance? That's all im really worried about.Anything more suited to a taller rider.6FT 2?Thanks in advance!
get the 1400 !!
the only thing you will notice you dont need gears
no silly power bands no 20,ooo rpm red line
built like a sofa you could do 500miles with no bad back no sore arse
as for sum saying about wind blast etc they are just nacy boys
im often on the m5 going for miles with no prob
best bike ive owened in years

Got to agree on the 13`s & 14`s...I still like the old Bandit 1200`s ..
£500 quid gets it a skimmed & flowed head with reprofiled cams which livens things up to the tune of around 140bhp at the back wheel....
You might find the suspension on the naked model ranges isn`t quite as firm as the race reps perhaps.

Got a CB1300 18 months ago (after 25 yrs of biking) and have no regrets, go for it.
Performance and handling quite good enough for me, bikini fairing takes the edge off the windblast enabling comfortable continental holidays.
170 mile tank range is less than seat comfort range.
Still keep looking for 6th gear though.
