Electric switches centre consul
Discussion
I just ran some wires to behind my consul in preperation for an extra switch.
I will be "re doing" my veneer soon, so I thought I would disconnect a switch to see how easily they come out.
Is there a trick to unplugging the plugs from the back of the switches. Mine seem quite difficult to remove.
Yes I did flip out the little white bits!
all I seemed to accomplish was more flaking veneer.
Are the Switches easily available, I'll need one on/off and a new blower switch.

And what Danny didn't mention.... the switches might be a little difficult to get hold of... They are Lucas switches and the only place I've seen them used other than TVR's is on public people carriers.

Blower fan Lucas 33939 A
Hazad lights Lucas 33829 A (for on/off switch)
Also anyone know any likely places in North Devon as my

Pretty certain the 33939A is the same fan switch as in the V8S, 3 position 2 speed fan
, mine was fcuked I took it apart, cleaned up the contacts, re moulded some of the plastic, it worked
. Fully intended to change it, but as it still works I haven't, that was in Jan this year
. Have a look it may still be repairable.
