Anyone need a nearly new centre box for 400/420/450SE? Get in quick as these are VERY VERY RARE especially at this price, its such a bargain I may just go and break mine

Any one know what he's replaced it with.
I'm not going to bid too high, but can't resist a bargin, plus need to concentrate on the RC.
Yes I know I'm not going to bid too high, but can't resist a bargin, plus need to concentrate on the RC.

I could tell you
......................................... but then I`d have to kill you
its all very 007 I`m afraid

and only know to 2 Wedgers all I can say is IMHO its the best sounding Wedge out there.

I recently had a new S/S exhaust made and fitted for £400 for my 400
We replaced the centre box with a straight thru pipe which has the added advantage
that I no longer "bottom-out" on the local country roads
There is a small silencer near the fuel tank (fitted for heat reduction reasons)
that I am still contemplating replacing with just a straight thru pipe
and then a nice Cherry-bomb lengthways across the back (which also looks great)
I am more than happy with the job that Exhausts UK in Sheffield did for me.
As I say the only dilemma is whether I get them to take off the small silencer
although they did advise it would then be too noisy on longer runs
Cheers

Did you go under the diff or over the axle? Any pics too?

They went over the axle (which is what took longest)
I will try post pics shortly
RichardFINALLY I have worked out how to post pics so here goes
The old exhaust/rear end

The old centre box

and

The New Back end inc Cherry Bomb

new centre pipe (note no silencer)

Much better ground clearance on country road blasts
Over the rear axle

and

Debating where to take this silencer off

It is quite loud and the small silencer was suggested where the exhaust passes near the fuel tank
Hope the pictures are good and helpful
Cheers
