No idea abou the location, but why wait till spring? Get it done now then enjoy the spring when it comes......You know you want to....go on, go on, go on...etc.

Na, just take it easy and you'll be fine! If the instructors are worth their salt, they should point out the additional hazards well before you get on the bike.

most likely your right (id hope theyd point out hazards), il be doing my CBT ASAP anyway so il try to base the time of the test on that, if it goes well il try to get the test done earlier. cheers

Heard nothing bad about them, although no direct experience of them, passed my test when it was a quick twice around the block. I must be on one of the routes they practice on, as Ive seen them wobble a bit when they catch sight of the ZZR on the drive laugh Chillis right, do it now tomorrow never comes

Agree with Chilli - I took my test Nov '05, as I thought it would be a quieter time to book my DAS, and a good oportunity to get a bit of experience in bad weather. Get some practice in driving rain and winds and you'll be in a much better position to enjoy the spring. Should also give you an appetite for sorting a bike!

My instructor did spend alot of time going through the things you should consider when winter riding and it has stood me in good stead since!

A bit further afield, but I used 'A' Class motorcycles to do my CBT and DAS. Eddie the owner was based in Llandudno Junction, but I notice they've relocated to Rhuddlan. Even lent me his trailer so I could collect my first bike from Watford.

Guess there must be a few places round Chester though?

theres are a few place in chester, the most popular 1 is run from Bill Smiths motorcycles but they are forever fully booked and with working being hectic its hard to work around getting a cancellation. will look into doin it as soon as i can afford to do it all at once (early next month)
