I had one as a kid, but have you tried to find a reasonably priced pedal car these days?

I'm trying to find one for my son's 5th birthday - I'm not after one of those tin jobbies that cost £200 or more, just one of the plastic bodied racing car types I remember as a kid.

Anyone got any ideas?

The Alfa servicing place I used had a Brera/Spider one like you describe - available from any Alfa dealer for about £91. Most manufacturers do similar!
