Sagaris Daily Driver

Dont worry, not the usual question of 'can I use a sagaris everyday' as having had a VX220 I'm convinced I could live with anything.

I am considering changing to a sagaris late spring/summer and my concern is with the short distance I drive everyday to work and back. It is probably not much more than a mile, in average traffic and at the minute my V6 isn't even close to being warmed up. In the past I've been told short journeys are bad for a car so does anyone think this would affect the speed six any worse than a 'normal' engine?

Oh and during the short trip the car is barely revved, and no...I don't want to walk, get a bike or a bus

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Honestly, you want to walk

or get yourself some high mileage scrapper (this is what I`m doing)

Any car (especially a car with a S6 engine) needs to be warmed up and even though you would not rev the car when cold the constant running of the engine with cold oil will not help wear'n'tear..

Just leave home a bit earlier and take a scenic route of about 15 miles! You'll want to when you get behind the wheel of a Sag!!!

In answer to your point - yes, I think a regualr short drive like that would be bad for the engine, especially in winter.

get a push bike, the water wont get warm let alone the oil ....
