I've been reading too many negative bad report type threads on here lately,so i'm only too glad i can start one which is just the oppositesmile
I've just had the front end of my Griff that i'm selling, painted to remove stonechips and a nasty scuff from a cyclists pedal!rolleyes.I've had quite a number of paint jobs on my various tivs over the years, but i have to say i have never been so impressed as i was when i collected my P&J this morning. This chap, who i only found out about recently, does lots of work on TVR's and other special marques, and he really does turn out work of the very highest standard, and at a very reasonable price. The best bit is that although i've always been prepared to travel any distance to get a good job done, this chap is based in Chepstow,Gwent(easy access of M4/M48 severn bridge),which is not more than 30mins from mesmileHis name is Byron Summers and here are the details for those of you who might be looking for a good recomendation.I'm not connected in any way to this business by the way.

Unfortunately pics like these just dont do it justice, especially when you have a flash reflection below the light pod making it look like marks!!Here it is though, the finish truly is like glass!!

Spendy will never part with the golf cartwinkAnd Clive told me his chest isn't hairy enough for a Griff ,anyway matehehe
Yes,i've asked Byron and he will be doing the candy apple job on L110 i'm pleased to say.I was surprised at just how many bodyshops didn't want to take it on to be honest, but he's more than up for doing itsmile

Toma500,thanks for the complimentsmile,the wheels are Compomotive MO6 18x9 et40 rears and 17x8 et25 fronts.They come in anthracite,silver or white.Theyre wearing Bridgestone RE050 Acemetrics all round 265x35 rear and 215x40 fronts.

As a guide price 'Nose jobs',ie front end to remove stone chips from nose and bonnet are between £400 and £600,depending on how bad it is,this includes tidying into the wheel arches as wellsmileObviously any 'trick' paints would cost more, but this price is for my starmist blue metallic.I really do think this kind of price is very reasonable.I've paid a lot more for the same job in the past, and i've honestly never had work of such high standard.
