Radio/CD player

Need to replace my radio in what was a RR Classic dash (now Dakar).
I only want a cheap radio but everything now comes with CD.
Everything I look at requires the unit to be no more than 45 degrees from horizontal and the slot in the dash is better than 60 degrees.

Anybody know, or know who to ask, if this angle is really critical.

I may just have to accept that the CD will not play. Can't say I'm that fussed anyway as the radio usually suits my needs.
