Does anyone know the whereabouts of the factory equipment, such as the body bucks and molds, chassis jigs, upholstery shop, whatever, etc etc.

Sorry to sound ignorant, but sifting through the threads relating to TVR ever coming back or not is rather tiresome. What I'm getting at is the glimmer of hope that TVR could rise again if the important items for manufacture are still more or less intact and together in one place, and maybe one day......

Sorry if I missed this previously.

Were they not taken back when NS changed his mind about the original deal he did with Dom?

I realise this thread hasn't been running more than a few hours, but I already get the feeling the answer to my question is as complicate as knowing if TVR will rise again.

I'll just jump ahead here, but what exactly was Al Melling interested in buying before NS jumped back in? I assumed Melling, or anyone else, would have been buying the manufacturing processes as well as the brand name. Given that's only a few months past, I'd further assume everything was still in one place, so to speak.

Anyone, please?

Melling wanted to buy a ready made manufacturing base for his own cars, knowledge, staff, existing moulds, customer base and a brand.

But as usual the price bid by the biy smolinsky was just stupidly high and not worth it..

I believe Al Melling is a lot of things but he's no fool with his money.

Well, it's looking like the automotive worlds best kept secret as to where the TVR manufacturing equipment is hiding.
