I had an AEM induction kit on my Civic when i bought it. I took it off as it is nothing but cheap crap. Poorly made and very expensive.

If i were you i would spend the money on a decent manifold or uprating the brakes if you have not already done this.

I just realised i said the AEM was cheap and expensive. What i meant was the quality of the AEM quality cheap and flimsy but very expensive to buy! Stick with the standard airbox.

If you really are serious about getting one you need to know what you want first, you can't just go I want one anybody got one...?!
Do you want:
Closed - as in ITG, GruppeM for example
Open - as AEM short ram, or that other one which sticks in the wheel arch.
You get what you pay for - if you get a cheap one it will be sh!t and you will end up worse off than you are now.
Closed ones are a lot better because they isolate the intake from the hot air under the bonnet - open ones do not, unless they open in the wheel arch and then they shag your motor when you go through a puddle.
Do you want noise?
Performance?
Or Both?
Think about what you want, think about how much you're willing to spend, do some research.

If you are looking for a performance increase, you need a well made(read expensive) cold airbox setup. A ram air pipe type arrangement, while sounding nice, will lose you power.

B16 engines are very sensitive to intake temps.
