That's a bit of a "Muppety" thing to say really. Now lets give the 5.7 the same level of tuning as the Mini,(probably giving it say 700-800 odd bhp!)and then see what happens?!!! Or put it against a standard Mini? People who relate tuned cars to standard ones have slightly missed the point!......Or put the 5.7 IN the Mini!!!!....Or even gear the Ro' down 'till it only does a ton (Ok 107.0125mph or whatever!)like the Mini! ("Oh God help me,...I could go on!".

face it guys, a standard 5.7 monaro has been beaten by a stripped out performance lightweight racecar, its obviously a fair competition. However.....after the 1/4 mile, how long do you think it would be before the 5.7 grunt just leaves the 1.4 sucking dust and monaro rubber at 100+mph?

Including other Monaro types.
