My slipping clutch was great after the 2 week break over xmas but predicatbly started slipping again a day later. It's getting worse gradually, so a replacement seems inevitable.

Thinking about Rev's upgrade to a 10.5" diameter jobbie, I have another spare flywheel that I can set up prior to the changeover. This should make it a weekend job - whip the old one out and stick the new one in.

So I'm thinking, why not have it lightened a bit too?

Can anyone recommend places that do flywheel work, is it a good idea to have the entire assembly balanced etc?

V8 developments much be fairly close to you ..

You also need to make the release bearing carrier shorted by approx 10mm.. (lathe needed..)

Balancing the flywheel would indeed be a good idea.

Yeah - only 75 miles away, but then that's a 150 mile round trip, 10 gallons of petrol, I think I'd better use a courier!
