Hi - One of my windows (left side) started making a bad crunching-grinding noise going down. Sounds normal going up. Lubed the gear and rollers and checked tracks which seem to be in good shape. No sign of anything rubbing inappropriately. Any ideas? Thanks Grady

Have you checked and cleaned the connections. Poor contact might be a contributing factor. Another option would be to strip down and clean the motor if there are no signs of fouling in the runners or window chanels.

Darn - A good idea but it's all back together for now.

Something stuck in the little channel that the glass slots into? Also the plastic U-chaped channels at the top of the door can come loose then go on the cock (fnarr), impeding the window.

Cant you run the window up and down with the door card/armrest etc off so you can see where the noise is coming from?

I has a similar problem not long ago, which proved to be the "top limit" wire cable interfering with the mechanism when the window was part way up.
