thumbup for only flashing the blue lights on the grille as I went passed you, instead of pulling me over etc.

Why? There's an ATR around Warwick/Leamington, and we saw a battenburg'd Omega on Sunday...

My wife has seen this one around Kodak corner, close to Junc 27. Don't think it is a Notts unmarked car, so I would suspect if it was northbound close to Junc 29 it is Derbys car, as the stretch of M1 from Junc 27 northbound is covered by them

FJ03UBA is a grey Volvo S40, which let me off a blatant undertake on the A38 just before Christmas.

Derby trafpol really do appear to be operating a very fair and easy going policy to transgressions depending upon the circumstances as they witness the incident directly themselves and see first hand cause & effect.

For them to have pulled over the bloke I undertook would have been too much to hope for though biggrin

The dark blue unmarked ST220 is still operating around Cov too, I'd quite like to know why I was followed a week or two back for a good ten mins (I took a very odd route by accident and noticed it following me all the way to my house?!)

Both of those cars are Notts Police. The Accord is based usually in the city, but goes anywhere it is needed and the Volvo is my unmarked Motorway car.

I work in the control room at Sherwood lodge (so you wouldn't actually speak to me) and as part of my area of responsibility is M1 Junc 24-27, but you would speak to my motorway officers.

Don't try and outrun that Volvo, I have been in it on patrol and it is very very quick

Been in the BiB for 2 and a half years now. Been dispatching for just over 2 years - I am a civilian dispatcher rather than a police officer. Will be doing this for a little while longer and then off to Canada to do the same for Calgary police
