Been thinking of getting one, researching it now, looks flat

does not have scamera warnings, but for the most part tend to keep to speed limits (need licence for job - no licence and no job)

been looking for one that does all the stuff, for around £100, but so far failed to find it - higher price in store apparently

The Becker Taffic Assist 7934 has been replaced by the Becker Traffic Assist 7926, but that is the case and got no intention of paying £2-400 for the latest unit

http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews116206.html gives good ideas
http://www.mybecker.com has decent manuals

free delivery until 20th Jan, seems a clearance model

Edit:-
Bought the item by going to the local large store and buying it the usual way. Got it into the car, plugged it in and went down some country lanes, got lost on purpose, but it found a new route that was not aware of and went ok. Drove down the baldock bypass to get to the A1, but it reckoned it was driving across fields, soon joined up with the road smile

No speed camera database as not want to have to rely on it, as might not notice the mobile unit, essentially a map system, home is set to the vicinity around my house, so if stolen lets the thief know i live in one of 200 houses smile

will goto their site and see if can get latest version smile

yea the lack of speed camera is annoying but for me its no real biggie anyway

I have managed to dump out of the nav software back to the OS, its a windows CE driven unit so in theory other nav software could be loaded onto it (agian just in theory)

Back1 - how do you mean they are stolen anyway?

mmm lets see a major supermarket sell stolen gear ? maybe it wants to shift them for the £300 all in one tom-toms, I just want a map reader smile

as for speed cameras, often use a route between edgware and hayes, some train bridge has a dual lane, 30 mph that goes into 2 lanes. some people do drive at 40 mph or higher, so felt lots of nice things to the old gent who timed the lights to stop when was approaching the hill and drove over at 10 mph to see the scamera van on the other side pointing up to the top of the hill.... if was relying on a scamera add on, might have gotten 3 points frown
